In the great spiritual celebration has become September 1st for citizens of Vratsa. The church, named "Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos", was consecrated by Metropolitan Gregory of Vratsa with priests from the town.
"Today, this church opens its doors and becomes the House of God, a place of prayer and praise to the Lord, to the Mother of God and to the saints. From today, a Divine Holy Liturgy will be held here so that everyone from this parish of the Diocese of Vratsa to be one with Christ. Our life begins in the church and ends in the church", said Metropolitan Gregory.
The Metropolitan of Vratsa blessed all Orthodox Christians who had come to pray at the service. Also he wished for many years the new church to gather Christians, wich to pray often to God.
Vratsa Mayor Kalin Kamenov and Regional Governor Malina Nikolova also attended the consecration of the new church.
