Patriarch Daniil Attends Voting on the Structure and Composition of the Council of Ministers

His Holiness Patriarch Daniil of Bulgaria attended the session of the National Assembly where the voting on the Prime Minister of the Republic of Bulgaria was held, and the structure and composition of the Council of Ministers were adopted. Patriarch Daniil was accompanied by His Eminence Bishop Gerasim of Melnik, Chief Secretary of the Holy Synod.

Today, the National Assembly voted on the nominee for Prime Minister, Rossen Zhelyazkov, and the structure and composition of the cabinet proposed by him. The cabinet structure includes 19 ministers, two of whom will also serve as deputy prime ministers.

Together with the Primate of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church, President Rumen Radev, Vice President Iliana Yotova, Acting Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev, and the ministers of the caretaker government, representatives of other religions in the country, representatives from various institutions, and members of the diplomatic corps were also present.
