Dear readers, from the beginning of December 2021, the official website of the Holy Synod of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church (https://bg-patriarshia.bg/) has been completely renovated technically.
The renovation was carried out in two stages. In the first stage, which ended in 2020, changes were made to the appearance and functionality of the website to make it better for readers and users.
The new possibilities of the official website of the Holy Synod of the BOC-BP allow convenient work from computers and mobile devices;
The latest global trends in creating the vision and functionality of an institutional website are being followed; The website was created with modern technology of the latest generation and meets the latest security requirements for an institutional website.
Global trends have been followed for the security of the website, as the security requirements have been applied to the institutional websites of the State Administration in the country.
The work with specific sections of the website has also been improved; the church calendar and others. The sharing of the issues of the church newspaper in the past years continues.
The aim is to create a complete archive of the newspaper with free
access for readers of the website as well as for scholars, such as historians and theologians.
For the future development of the official website, ideas for adding more functionalities to the website, such as a reading room, a book store, etc., are being discussed.
